opsom "The Mystery Bible Study by Joyce Anderson

This Bible study does not delve into the doctrinal framework of the dispensation of grace but instead focuses on what a person's life looks like within this period of grace. Apostle Paul is our guide and in this Bible study his message to us is shown by a "mind map." A mind map is a visual representation of information that includes a central theme surrounded by connected branches of related topics. These topics are visualized with images, words and colors. This visual tool helps organize information to better analyze, comprehend, synthesize, recall and generate new ideas.

This Bible study began as a mind map that Joyce Anderson made to organize and visualize the main points the Apostle Paul writes about in his 13 books to the Church in this dispensation of grace. After much Bible study, reflection and conversations with people she was encouraged to add notes and explain the mind map. Paul's message to the Body of Christ is life-changing. As we understand God's loving plan for the members of his body, we will have a new perspective on who Christ Jesus is to us and who we are to him. Because this Bible study is by no means complete on The Mystery, you are encouraged to use the five lessons in the Bible study as a springboard for your personal Bible Study as you search the Scriptures and apply them to your life.

Joyce Anderson her prayer is that as you study the Bible using the mind map with its central theme and five related topics, you will understand and follow the teaching and instructions of Apostle Paul in his New Testament books, Romans to Philemon. He poured out his life to present the mystery revealed to him by God. It is of utmost importance for us to study what it means to have "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27). By studying Paul's gospel we will know the answer to the question, "What difference does the mystery make?"


opsom What's inside the Bible study?

The study is not so much a study on doctrine but on the practical and personal application of what the Mystery means for every believer in Jesus Christ. The study contains the following five lessons:

* Lesson 1: The Mystery - Requirements
Only one requirement for having Christ in you, the hope of glory. With this hope comes participation in a race.

* Lesson 2: The Mystery - Resources
Christ in you! From his life we are equipped with tremendous resources for the race.

* Lesson 3: The Mystery - Responsiblities
Christ in you brings responsibilities to magnify his name and represent Christ to a lost and dying world.

* Lesson 4: The Mystery - Restrictions
While in the race, beginning at salvation and ending on that Day, there are restrictions one must follow.

* Lesson 5: The Mystery - Rewards
We are in a race which ends on that Day when our redemption is complete and our rewards are given.
